All of you know how much of a fighter Dusty is. Well, it looks like Dusty is giving his all. We are witnessing a miracle! Last night at 12:30 they came and got Dustin’s mom and asked her to come back. When she got there, he was responding to questions. She asked if he could hear her and he nodded. He squeezed her finger and nodded yes again when she asked him if he was in pain. The doctors had said that it would be days at best before he woke and maybe never, but Dusty is proving that he is stronger and more of a fighter then anyone could have possibly imagined! The power of prayer and the love of friends can indeed move mountains!
They sedated him after to allow him to rest but we are looking forward to seeing more nods and feeling more squeezes today!
We will be able to allow people back some starting this morning. Once he is awake, I’m sure that hearing and see all of his wonderful friends and family will motivate him into fighting even more!
